It all started over a spaghetti dinner at church. Mrs. Weeks found us, in her quiet way, and said, "I've got an idea to share with you, it's something I'd like to do for your kids..." What was her idea? She's offered to purchase our children each a book to read as they start their Edventure with the condition that when they finish the book they write their name and address in it and pass it on to a child they meet along the way, asking that child to do the same. She's started a fund for these books so that we can purchase more and continue the cycle as our kids read their way around the world. Daddy, being techno boy, took it to the next level and said, "What if we make a way, on the website, for kids to log in and report when they've gotten one of our books and kids everywhere can track the progress of the books and contribute to the book fund from home so that we can give away even MORE books to kids we meet along the way?" GREAT idea!! So, Mrs. Weeks, your little idea to bless our children may grow into a really fun way to learn a little more geography and bless a whole lot of children all around the world! Thank you for the fabulous idea and the funds with which to start the project!
